Qur'an Ayah of the day, 5 Dhul Hijjah 1453

Await they aught save the fulfilment thereof? On the day when the fulfilment thereof cometh, those who were before forgetful thereof will say: The messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth! Have we any intercessors, that they may intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to life on earth), that we may act otherwise than we used to act? They have lost their souls, and that which they devised hath failed them.

Surah Al-A'raaf(7:53)

Hadith of the day, 5 Dhul Hijjah 1453

Sahih al-Bukhari

Knowledge

Chapter: What is said regarding the hand to hand exchange (of books of knowledge), and the writing of knowledge by religious scholars to different countries

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Once the Prophet (ﷺ) wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. The Prophet (ﷺ) was told that they (rulers) would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet (ﷺ) got a silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)" engraved on it. As if I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet.
