Qur'an Ayah of the day, 18 Rabi Al Awwal 1440

Being sparing of their help to you (believers). But when the fear cometh, then thou (Muhammad) seest them regarding thee with rolling eyes like one who fainteth unto death. Then, when the fear departeth, they scald you with sharp tongues in their greed for wealth (from the spoil). Such have not believed. Therefor Allah maketh their deeds fruitless. And that is easy for Allah.

Surah Al-Ahzaab(33:19)

Hadith of the day, 18 Rabi Al Awwal 1440

Sahih al-Bukhari

Call to Prayers (Adhaan)

Chapter: (The reward of a person) who waits for As-Salat (the prayer) in the mosque and the superiority of mosques

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The angels keep on asking for Allah's Blessing and Forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not do Hadath (passes wind). The angels say, 'O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him.' Each one of you is in the prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and nothing but the prayer detains him from going to his family."

Sahih al-Bukhari 659
