Qur'an Ayah of the day, 1 Dhul Qidah 1421

And approach not the wealth of the orphan save with that which is better, till he reach maturity. Give full measure and full weight, in justice. We task not any soul beyond its scope. And if ye give your word, do justice thereunto, even though it be (against) a kinsman; and fulfil the covenant of Allah. This He commandeth you that haply ye may remember.

Surah Al-An'aam(6:152)

Hadith of the day, 1 Dhul Qidah 1421

Sahih al-Bukhari

Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)

Chapter: Bravery and cowardice in the battle

Narrated Muhammad bin Jubair:

Jubair bin Mut`im told me that while he was in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with the people returning from Hunain, some people (bedouins) caught hold of the Prophet (ﷺ) and started begging of him so much so that he had to stand under a (kind of thorny tree (i.e. Samurah) and his cloak was snatched away. The Prophet (ﷺ) stopped and said, "Give me my cloak. If I had as many camels as these thorny trees, I would have distributed them amongst you and you will not find me a miser or a liar or a coward."
