Qur'an Ayah of the day, 15 Rajab 1497

O ye who believe! Be not as those who disbelieved and said of their brethren who went abroad in the land or were fighting in the field: If they had been (here) with us they would not have died or been killed: that Allah may make it anguish in their hearts. Allah giveth life and causeth death; and Allah is Seer of what ye do.

Surah Aal-i-Imraan(3:156)

Hadith of the day, 15 Rajab 1497

Sahih al-Bukhari

Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab)

Chapter: To be undutiful to parents is one of the greatest sins

Narrated Al-Mughira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has forbidden you ( 1 ) to be undutiful to your mothers (2) to withhold (what you should give) or (3) demand (what you do not deserve), and (4) to bury your daughters alive. And Allah has disliked that (A) you talk too much about others ( B), ask too many questions (in religion), or (C) waste your property."
