Qur'an Ayah of the day, 18 Shaban 1466

Those who wait upon occasion in regard to you and, if a victory cometh unto you from Allah, say: Are we not with you? and if the disbelievers meet with a success say: Had we not the mastery of you, and did we not protect you from the believers? - Allah will judge between you at the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will not give the disbelievers any way (of success) against the believers.

Surah An-Nisaa(4:141)

Hadith of the day, 18 Shaban 1466

Sahih al-Bukhari

Knowledge

Chapter: Whosoever, while standing, asked a religious learned man who was sitting (on a pulpit or a similar thing, about something)

Narrated Abu Musa:

A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What kind of fighting is in Allah's cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness." The Prophet (ﷺ) raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, "He who fights so that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah's cause."
