8–13 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1453 AH · 20 Mar – 25 Mar 2032
1972 days to go
Hajj 2032 is expected from Saturday, 20 March 2032 to Thursday, 25 March 2032 (8–13 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1453 AH). Dates in the Islamic calendar follow the moon, so they move about 11 days earlier each Gregorian year. The date shown here is based on the Umm Al-Qura calendar used in Saudi Arabia; in countries that rely on local moon sighting, such as Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, it may fall one day later.
Hajj is the pilgrimage to Makkah and the fifth pillar of Islam, obligatory once in a lifetime for every adult Muslim who is physically and financially able. Its rites take place from the 8th to the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah: the Day of Tarwiyah at Mina (8th), standing at Arafah (9th), the night at Muzdalifah, and the stoning of the Jamarat, sacrifice and Tawaf from the 10th onwards.
The first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah are among the most virtuous days of the year for all Muslims, not only pilgrims.
